Hoi An, Vietnam

The culinary capital of Vietnam

Danielle and I spent Christmas in Hoi An and what a perfect place to do so! It was a bit strange to be spending Christmas in such a warm climate but I quickly got over that. I've actually have experienced one of the longest summers ever, starting in Italy and making my way around the globe to keep summer going! (Oh, how that will change when I find out what my future brings...)

We spent the morning walking around the market. Hoi An has the best best market that I have yet to see in Vietnam. It is filled with everything that you can imagine and more. We walked with our cooking instructor as she helped us get the things we needed for the menu.

Baby Mustard Cooking Class

Danielle and I spent the day learning how to cook some traditional Vietnamese food. We made spring rolls, octopus, Vietnamese style pancake and the amazing green mango salad.
